Busy busy!!

Wow, what a few weeks. Karate Champ launched, closely followed by Banzai Rabbit, and with both being extremely well received by the press and gamers worldwide any plans we had for a relaxing break quickly evaporated.

The last couple of weeks we've been working overtime on a couple of exciting developments....

1. Karate Champ for iPad. A Higher Resolution full screen version of the game with table top split screen mode so you can have at it with a mate.

2. Banzai Rabbit HD. Looks and plays AMAZING on the iPad. Being submitted TONIGHT!

3. 2x new games well underway - including the much rumored sequel to Cobra Command.

iPad Addiction

Apologies for the length of time since posting. We have no excuse other than to say 'iPad'.

Nuff said!

So a couple developments since Easter.

1. We set Cobra Command our epic Arcade Helicopter Game to FREE to see what would happen, and ka-boom straight to No.21 Total Apps in the US and similar worldwide. In 2 days the weekend of the 17th April over 150,000 copies given away. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Roll on the sequel :P

The cost to us other than loss of revenue....a whole bunch of one star reviews. Hmm funny how when paid it was a 4.5 star game now it's 2 stars. Hmm wonder if that says anything about the free vs paying crowd? Interesting.

2. Our first appearance in an Apple TV advert.

In early March we were contacted by Cupertino about the possibility of featuring one of our earliest apps SNAP! in an iPhone tv spot. Of course we jumped at the idea, and it's finally out. Australia only (US equivalent has EA's Sudoku) but cool none the less.

Blink and you'll miss it but it's there among luminaries Monopoly and Cluedo :p
3. The FROGMAN cometh - soon!

Hoppy Easter!

Video early next week - thought we'd leave it till after the iPadapolooza

Meanwhile some background on what you can expect when Frogman hops to the iPhone this month...
34 levels ranging from city streets to train yards to a lava filled foundry to the sewers x 5 rounds per level = 170 rounds, or apprx 12+ hours to play through if you could make through in 1 sitting. Though we doubt you could

Images from the Frogman comic that proceeds each of the 4 parts of the story...
